Endurance is not just in our name. Due to the inherent thickness of our composite doors, they can offer a much higher lifespan than conventional composite door designs. Outdated designs can often warp out of shape over time, effecting door performance and appearance.
As our timber core comprises laminated layers, you will not have to worry about this happening in your home. This core is further enhanced with our unique Moisture Barrier System, which works to protect your door against water damage and delamination.
Security
An Endurance door slab is made using Kerto Laminated Veneer Lumber, an incredible solid engineered timber. Comprising of 17 laminations, the timber layers of an Endurance door are cross layered to create a door design that is not only the most solid and secure available on the market but also highly resistant to both bowing and warping.
All of our composite doors undergo an extensive testing process to ensure they meet the Secured by Design standards, allowing you to enjoy the peace of mind that comes with exceptional door craftsmanship. Secured by Design (SBD) is the official UK Police flagship initiative supporting the principles of ‘designing out crime’. The Endurance® door range has been designed, tested and achieved the standard when combined with laminated glass.
Moisture Barrier System
Our Endurance composite doors are made with a unique moisture barrier system which prevents moisture build-up at the foot of the door. Unlike other solid timber core composite doors, this feature prevents an Endurance door swelling and sticking in the frame.
